- Abstract
- In this study, a mesoscale model of concrete was generated and used for the blast analysis. Delaunay Triangulation and convex hull concept were used so that all the aggregates were convex polyhedron. Intersection checking was proceeded so that all of the aggregate models can be placed into a concrete model without intersecting with other aggregates and steels. A reinforced concrete slab under blast loading was simulated and compared with the experimental results to validate the proposed model. The comparison shows that the proposed mesoscale concrete model can provide a satisfactory result of the structures under blast loading.
