Cerebral aneurysm is disease that can lead to socio-economic loss. Stenting is one of interested treatment method for cerebral aneurysm. In this study, we focused diversion ability of stent with changing configuration of stent. we analyzed the hemodynamic factors by design factors of the stent using CFD simulation. Simulation modeling was based on Taguchi’s L-27 orthogonal array table. Cross-sectional shape, length, porosity and the location of the stent are considered to design factors. Optimization was conducted by analyzed hemodynamic factors. We considered the wall shear stress, low wall shear stress area and pressure for hemodynamic factor. Finally we determined optimized configuration of stent.
