Abstract
This study aims to construct and analyze the database of CO2 reduction performance of the equivalent initial cost for the new renewable energy technologies as part of study on the building life cycle CO2 optimal assessment. For this aim, the new renewable energy system was classified based on the green building certification system and New and Renewable Energy Center(NREC) system and CO2 reduction performance database was constructed through analysis of existing studies. If the technology which CO2 reduction performance is not specified, CO2 reduction performance was calculated based on energy production performance and carbon emission factor. In addition, the market price of the commercial technologies was examined, in order to analyze the initial cost of new renewable energy technology. As a result, the quantitative CO2 reduction performance database which is comparison to equivalent initial cost for the new renewable energy technology was constructed.
