청소년 자녀가 지각한 부모의 정서적 가용성이 사회적 유능감에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 중학생이 지각한 부모의 정서적 가용성이 사회적 유능감과의 관계에서 의도적 통제가 매개역할을 하는지 확인하고, 기본심리 욕구가 매개효과를 조절하는 조절변인으로 효과를 가지는지 확인하기 위해 조절 된 매개모형 분석을 하였다. 이를 위해 경상도 중학교에 재학 중인 학생 367명을 대상으로 지각된 부모의 정서적 가용성, 사회적 유능감, 의도적 통제, 기본심리욕구를 측정하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS Statistics 24.0와 Process Macro 3.5를 활용하여 분석하였으며, 각 변인들의 상관관계, 매개효과, 조절된 매개효과의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석의 결과, 부모의 정서적 가용성, 사회적 유능감, 의도적 통제, 기본심리욕구가 전체적으로 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 지각된 부모의 정서적 가용성과 사회적 유능감 간에 의도적 통제가 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 부모의 정서적 가용성과 사회적 유능감에 미치는 영향에 의도적 통제를 통해 확인 한 결과, 간접효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 부모의 정서적 가용성과 의도적 통제 간의 관계에서 기본심리 욕구가 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 기본심리 욕구의 수준에 따라 부모의 정서적 가용성이 의도적 통제를 유의미하게 예측한다는 것을 의미한다. 넷째, 부모의 정서적 가용성이 사회적 유능감에 미치는 영향에서 기본심리욕구로 조절된 의도적통제의 매개효과가 유의미 한 것으로 확인되었다. 즉, 기본심리 욕구의 수준에 따라 부모의 정서적 가용성이 의도적 통제 수준에 미치는 영향이 조절됨으로써 사회적 유능감에 간접적으로 영향을 미치는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 마지막으로, 연구결과와 논의를 하였고, 연구의 한계점을 포함하였다.

| This study conducted mediation model analysis in order to verify that effortful control could have mediating effects on relationship between emotional availability of parents perceived by children who are in middle schools and social competence and to identify that basic psychological needs could have effects as a moderating variable which controls the mediating effects. For this research, this study selected 367 middle school students in Gyeongsang province. It measured perceived emotional availability of parents, social competence, and effortful control, and basic psychological needs. It analyzed the collected data by using SPSS Statistics 24.0 and Process Macro 3.5, and the results of correlation, mediating effects, and moderated mediating effects of each variable are as follows. First, as a result of correlation analysis, this study found emotional availability of parents, social competence, effortful control, and basic psychological needs have significantly positive correlations. Second, the effortful control between the perceived emotional availability of parents and the social competence could have the mediating effects. Indeed, as a result of identifying the effects of the effortful control on the emotional availability of parents and the social competence, there are indirect effects. Third, the basic psychological needs could have the mediating effects on the relationship between the perceived emotional availability of parents and the effortful control. In other words, it means that depending on a level of the basic psychological needs, the emotional availability of parents significantly predicts the effortful control. Fourth, the effortful control moderated by basic psychological needs could have significant mediating effects in terms of effects of the emotional availability of parents on the social competence. In other words, it means that the emotional availability of parents could have indirect mediating effects on the social competence as it is possible to control effects of the emotional availability of parents on a level of effortful control depending on a level of the basic psychological needs. Finally, this study presented research results and discussion and it included limitations of this research.
