- Abstract
- ECMS (Equivalent Consumption Minimization Strategy) guarantees the optimal control of the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and fuel economy. However, it has been had less interest in drivability which causes impractical controlێ .In this study, in order to improve the drivability of parallel HEV in the
aspect of ECMS algorithm implementation, we designed two different novel methods with the redefined cost functions and then investigated how control inputs of ECMS are affected. Consequently, drivability metrics and control performance were analyzed with a Model in the Loop Simulation (MILS) environment.
