Poly-Si TFT LCD를 위한 다기능 게이트 구동회로 설계

Abstract

본 논문에서는 평판 정보 디스플레이로써 현재 각광을 받고 있는 다결정 실리콘 TFT(Thin Flim Transistor) LCD(Liquid Crystal Device)중에서 480(V) x 720(H) 화소 배열을 구동하기 위한 타결정 실리콘 TFT LCD 내장 구동화로에 대하여 논하였다. 기존의 액정 패널은 게이트 구동을 단방향으로 구동하는 방식이지만, 본 연구에서는 양방향 구동회로와 비월 주사와 순차 주사방식의 영상 신호를 모두 디스플레이할 수 있는 게이트 구동방식을 제안한다. 그리고 본 연구를 통해 설계한 게이트 구동회로는 지연 특성의 개성과 각 영상 신호의 주사방식에 대응할 수 있음을 시뮬레이션을 통해 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper we have discussed about the internal gate driver for 480(V) x 730(H) Pixel Array among the poly-si TFT-LCD which has appeared before the footslights. And we have proposed the new gate driving methods which they have the bidirectional gate driving, interlaced scanning and progressive scanning functions. Finally the simulation results show that the proposed gate methods can improve the delay characteristics of video data and have the single scanning and progressive scanning fucntions on the LCD pannel.
