dc.description.abstractRecently, the domestic construction industry has been introducing the new delivery systems such as IPD, CM at Risk and Pre-Con. This is delivery method that can further enhance the usability of BIM technologies, enabling direct and effective support of construction management tasks performed during the Pre-construction phase. However, there are no BIM application methods, procedures, or strategies in this delivery system in domestic so far, it remains in limited BIM application, which was used under the existing design-bid-build method. In this research, the case of IPD and BIM applied to industrial plant construction project for the first time in Korea is analyzed and, by doing so, the success factors for BIM application in IPD project are derived. The single case study was used as a research methodology, and the success factors of IPD BIM are derived by conducting face-to-face interviews with key stakeholders who actually participated in the case project.en_US
