Abstract
Dynamic behaviors of an automatic dynamic balancer(ABB) are analyzed by a theoretical approach. The system is modeled a rigid body with four degree-of-freedom. To investigate of the system, it is analyzed a system modelling with considering a angular acceleration and friction between balls and race. Using Lagrange's equation, we derive the nonlinear equations of motion for a non-autonomous system with respect to the polar coordinate. Time responses are computed by the generalized-α method. We also investigate the effects of the velocity profile and friction on the dynamic behaviors of the system.
