Abstract
PROFIBUS is an open industrial communication network for a wide range of application in manufacturing automation and process control systems. PROFIBUS-DP(Decentralized Peripherals) are mainly used to connect smart automation devices via a fast serial link. PROFIBUS-DP adopts master/slave mechanism for communication service.
