Abstract
A beam-steerable dual-circular polarized 60 GHz patch antenna array is proposed in this paper. A 1×4 dual-fed stacked patch antenna array is integrated with a 8×8 Butler matrix. The simulation result shows that the proposed antenna array satisfies a –10 dB reflection coefficient over the frequency range of 59.5 GHz – 68.4 GHz. The proposed array has a beam-steering capability with the maximum gain of 11.4 dBi and generates the dual-circular polarization simultaneously.
