일본 대학 한국어 초급 교재의 문법 항목 분석과 교재 개발 방안

Abstract

일본에서 출판되어 일본 대학에서 사용하고 있는 한국어 교재는 대체적으로 문법 중심으로 다루어지고 있다. 그러나 문법 제시와 설명이 체계적이지 못하여 학습 효과를 증대시키지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 논문은 체계적으로 문법을 다룬 한국어 교재를 개발하기 위해 일본 대학에서 가장 많이 사용하고 있는 한국어 교재 4종의 문법 항목을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 효율적인 교재 개발 방안을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 분석 교재 선택 시 고려 조건으로 첫째, 일본 대학에서 가장 많이 사용하는 한국어 교재를 선정하며, 둘째, 한국에서 발간된 교재는 제외하고, 셋째, 한국어 초기에 조사와 어미의 기본 요소를 학습하고 이것은 한국어로 의사소통을 하는데 중요한 부분이 되기 때문에 초급 교재만을 선정하여 조사와 어미의 문제점을 살피도록 한다. 먼저 2장에서는 교재 분석에 앞서 일본 대학에서 이루어지고 있는 한국어교육 현황과 한국어 교재 현황을 살펴보았다. 3장에서는 먼저 조사와 어미의 제시 순서, 명칭, 내용을 나누어 각 교재별로 살펴보고, 차이점과 문제점을 정리하였다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 본 논문에서 제안하고 있는 한국어 문법을 체계화한 한국어 교재의 기본 개발 원리를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 구성은 혼합 교수요목의 형태를 취한다. 둘째, 학습자의 요구를 반영한다. 셋째, 의사소통 기능 향상을 위한 상호 작용에 중점을 둔다. 넷째, 선수 학습에 대비하여 독학 교재로서의 기능을 고려하여 구성한다. 다섯째, 문법 학습 순서가 난이도뿐만 아니라 사용빈도, 가용성, 심리적 난이도 등을 고려해 체계적인 문법 교육이 될 수 있도록 한다. 여섯째, 주제나 상황과 관련된 한국 문화를 소개한다. 앞에서 정리한 개발 원리를 바탕으로 문법 항목의 선정과 문법 항목의 단계화를 거쳐 문법을 제시하는 방식을 제안하였다.; Korean Language Texts published in Japan, and those that are being used in Japanese colleges in general have been edited with a focus on grammar. However, reality is that these texts are not able to make much contribute to improvement of effectiveness of learning, for they haven’t presented and explained grammar in a systematic manner. The purpose of this research paper was to propose an efficient method to develop Korean Language Text that shall deal with grammar in a systematic way having analyzed grammar items presented in 4 kinds of Korean Language Text, which have been most frequently used in Japanese colleges. As to conditions when selecting the texts subjected to further analysis; First, Korean Language Texts, which are being used most frequently and popular in Japanese colleges, shall be selected. Second, those texts that have been published in Korea shall be excluded. Third, at the beginning stage, students shall learn auxiliary or post positioned words and also basic factors of termination or the ending of a word or suffix. Since these are the important parts in order to communicate in Korean efficiently, problems in relation to auxiliary words and endings that found only in the selected texts for beginners shall be carefully reviewed. First of all, in Chapter 2, situations of Korean Language trainings currently conducting in Japanese colleges and the texts thereof were investigated before performing analysis of the texts. In Chapter 3, having divided auxiliary words, sequence of presenting the terminations, title and its contents were examined above all according to each text, and differences and problems therewith were reviewed and presented. Through theses analyses, the principles of development for Korean Language Text in which learning procedures of grammar were established and presented in a systematic way just as it was proposed in this paper are as follows: First, organization of text shall be in a form of hybrid synopsis. Second, text shall reflect requirement of learners. Third, text shall be written with a focus on interaction so as to improve communication function. Fourth, text shall be organized having considered its function as a text for self-taught purpose in order to be ready for prior learning. Fifth, text shall be compiled and edited so as to make sequence of grammar study contribute to teaching and learning of grammar in a systematic manner having considered not only level of difficulty but also frequency of use, availability, and perceived level of psychological difficulty. Sixth, Korean culture related to topics and situations of the story shall be introduced. Based on such principles for development of the text as previously described, grammar items were selected and also a method that presents grammar through the phased procedures of learning were proposed.
