청소년이 지각하는 부모의 양육태도와 심리적 안녕감이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구에서는 청소년들에게 심각하게 영향을 미치고 있는 인터넷 중독과 청소년의 인터넷 사용에 대한 전반적인 현황파악과 함께 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 변인, 즉 청소년이 지각하는 부모의 양육태도를 중심으로 알아보고자 하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 중학교 학생들의 인터넷 사용기간, 주당 게임 사용시간을 알아보고, 학생들이 지각하는 부모의 양육태도가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 또한 부모의 양육태도가 청소년의 자기통제력과 심리적 정서에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 알아보고, 이와 함께 청소년의 자기통제력과 심리적 정서와 인터넷 중독과의 관계도 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 연구문제 1. 청소년이 지각하는 부모양육방식에 따라 청소년의 인터넷 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 2. 부모의 양육태도는 청소년의 자기통제력, 심리적인 정서에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 연구문제 3. 청소년의 자기 통제력 및 심리적인 정서는 인터넷 중독에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 본 연구를 위해 서울시 중학생 400명을 대상으로 인터넷 이용 실태 및 중독, 부모의 양육태도와 자기통제력, 심리적 정서 검사를 설문을 통해 실시하였으며 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모의 애정이 높을수록 인터넷 중독은 낮고, 반대로 부모의 거부와 과보호적인 양육태도가 높을수록, 인터넷 중독이 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 양육태도가 청소년의 자기 통제력과 심리적인 안녕감에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 애정적인 부모의 양육태도일수록 청소년의 자기 통제력이 높으며, 거부적이거나, 과보호적인 양육태도는 청소년의 자기 통제력을 낮게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 애정적인 부모의 양육태도는 긍정적인 정서는 높게, 부정적인 정서는 낮게 형성시키며, 거부적인 부모의 양육태도일 수록 청소년의 부정적인 정서를 갖게 하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 자기 통제력과 심리적 정서가 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는데, 자기 통제력이 높을수록, 또한 긍정적인 심리적 정서가 형성되어 있을수록 인터넷 중독에 빠져들 위험이 낮으며, 통제력이 낮고, 부정정서가 높을수록 인터넷 중독이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 청소년들이 지각하는 부모의 양육태도가 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치고 있음을 밝혔으며, 아울러 부모의 양육태도가 청소년의 자기 통제력과 심리적인 정서에까지 영향을 끼쳐, 청소년의 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치고 있음을 밝혀냈다는 점에서 의의를 찾아볼 수 있다.; The purpose of this study is to investigate the adolescents' Internet addiction according to their perception of parental rearing attitudes. Especially we also focused on the internet addiction by adolescent's self-control and their psychological well-being(emotion) depending on parental rearing attitudes. The questions for the study were as follow. Study question 1. How do adolescents' perception of parental rearing attitudes effect on their Internet addiction? Study question 2. How do parental rearing attitudes effect on adolescents' self-control and psychological well-being? Study question 3. How do adolescents' self control and psychological well-being effect on their Internet addiction? The study was carried out by questioning 400 male and female students from 2 middle schools in Seoul on the actual condition of Internet use, Internet uses motivation, Internet addiction, parental rearing attitude, self-control, psychological well-being. And 354 questionnaire surveys were used. The result of the study is following: Firstly, parental rearing attitudes influence on adolescents' Internet addiction; their internet addiction was lower as their parental rearing attitudes were more affective and autonomous. In contrast, Internet addiction was higher as their parental rearing attitudes were more over protective and rejective. Secondly, parental rearing attitudes influence on adolescents' self control ability and psychological well-being. Namely, adolescents' self-control abilities were lower and they got negative emotions as their parent rearing attitude was more rejective and over protective. However, they have strong self-control abilities and positive emotions when they perceive their parental rearing attitudes more affective. Third, adolescents' Internet addiction was higher as they got lower self-control abilities and negative emotions. Thus, parental rearing attitudes and adolescents' Internet addiction has significant correlation because parental rearing attitudes influence adolescents' self-control abilities and psychological emotions. This study shows that the Internet addiction can differ depending on their parent rearing attitude. In addition, parent rearing attitude can highly effect on adolescents' self-control and their psychological well-being. In turn, adolescents' self-control and their psychological well-being can effect on Internet addiction. Therefore parent rearing attitude is very powerful variable for adolescents' Internet addiction.
