- 2007년 2월 28일 교육인적자원부에서 2007 개정 교육과정을 고시하였으며, 2010년 3월 1일 초등학교 3, 4학년의 교과서가 새롭게 만들어졌다. 본 논문은 제7차와 2007년 개정 초등학교 3, 4학년 음악 교과서 중 국악영역을 비교․ 분석한 후 개정 교육과정의 문제점을 파악하고, 그에 대한 개선방향을 제시한 글이다. 이를 위하여 제7차와 2007 개정 초등학교 3, 4학년음악 교과서와 교사용 지도서의 국악영역을 대상으로, 이를 가창․ 기악․ 창작․ 감상․ 생활화영역의 다섯 항목으로 나누어 검토한 후 문제점 및 개선방향을 고찰한 결과는 다음과 같다.
