한국어 학습자를 위한 강조 표현 교육 방안 연구

Abstract

이 논문에서는 외국어로서의 한국어 교육에서 강조 표현이 어떻게 다루어지고 있는지 분석하고 강조 표현의 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 먼저 1장에서는 한국어 학습자에게도 다양한 층위에서 실현되는 강조 표현을 교육하여야 한다는 연구의 필요성을 밝혔다. 강조 표현은 말하는 사람이 전달하고 싶은 내용 중 중요하다고 생각되는 내용이나 듣는 사람이 집중해 주었으면 하는 내용을 두드러지게 하여 효과적으로 의사소통을 할 수 있기 때문에 경제적이지 않지만 빈번히 사용하게 된다. 그러므로 한국어 교육에서도 실제 언어생활에 사용되는 자연스러운 언어를 가르치려는 움직임의 한 방법으로 강조 표현에 대한 논의가 필요하다. 2장에서는 강조 표현을 정의하고, 그 실현 방법을 논의하였다. 강조 표현의 실현 양상은 음성 ․ 음운적 방법, 어휘 ․ 형태적 방법, 통사적 방법으로 나타나지만 본 논의에서는 음성 ․ 음운적 방법으로 실현되는 강조 표현을 제외하고 논의를 전개하였다. 3장에서는 한국어 교재에서 나타나는 강조 표현을 분석하였다. 한국어 교육 기관에서 출판되어 사용하고 있는 4개 교재를 초급부터 고급까지 분석 대상으로 하여, 각 교재에 나타난 강조 표현을 확인하고 교재별 특징과 실현 방법별 특징을 분석하였다. 교재별 분석 결과 강조의 기능을 하는 표현들이 전 단계에 걸쳐 다양하게 나타나고 있었지만 공통으로 다루고 있는 항목은 많지 않았고 고급으로 갈수록 제시되는 강조 표현이 크게 달랐다. 한국어 교재의 강조표현 현황으로는 우선, 교재별로 제시하는 강조 표현의 항목 수의 차이를 들 수 있다. 그리고 대부분의 교재에서는 강조 표현을 문법 항목으로 제시를 할 때 강조에 대한 설명이 없이, 예문만으로 제시하는 경우가 매우 많았다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 활용 어미가 다양하게 나타날 수 있는 경우에도 풍부한 예문을 보여주지 못해 다양한 활용 어미가 올 수 있다는 사실을 보여주지 못한다는 점이 발견되었다. 한국어 교재 분석에 대한 이러한 현황을 바탕으로 4장에서는 단계별 강조 표현의 목록을 제시하였다. 그리고 강조 표현을 교육하기 위한 활용 방안을 의미 ․ 기능별로 제시하였다. 이는 실제 한국어 수업 현장에서 강조 표현을 교육하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.; This thesis analyzed how emphatic expressions are dealt with in teaching the Korean language as a foreign language, and presented the ways of teaching emphatic expressions. First, in Chapter 1, the need to make researches on the education of emphatic expressions that realized in diverse strata of Korean language learners was examined. Emphatic expressions are not economical but frequently used since they can make communication effective by highlighting the message which the speaker considers important and on which the speaker wants the hearers to concentrate. Accordingly, in the education of the Korean language also, discussion on emphatic expressions as a way of movement to teach natural language that is used in actual living needs to be made. In Chapter 2, the emphatic expression was defined, and the methods of realizing it were discussed. Emphatic expressions appear in the form of voice, phonemic ways, vocabulary and morphological ways, and syntactical ways, but in this paper, discussion was made excluding the emphatic expressions realized in the form of voice and phonemic ways. In Chapter 3, the emphatic expressions that appear in Korean language textbooks were analyzed. The objects to be analyzed were 4 textbooks ranging from the elementary level to the advanced level that were published by Korean language educational institutions, and emphatic expressions that appeared in each textbook were examined and the characteristics by textbook and by form of realization were analyzed. The results of analyzing each textbook showed diverse expressions functioning as emphasis in all the stages but there were not many items that were dealt with commonly, and the more advanced the textbooks, the greater difference in emphatic expressions they showed. As current conditions of emphatic expressions in Korean language textbooks, the first thing was that there were differences in the number of emphatic expressions depending on textbooks. And in most textbooks, when emphatic expressions were presented as grammatical items, only example sentences, without explanation on the emphasis, were presented in very many cases. Finally, even in the case in which diverse conjugated endings can appear, many related examples were not shown, so it could not show the fact that there can be various conjugated endings can come out. Based on such current conditions of the analysis on Korean language textbooks, the catalogue of emphatic expressions by stage was presented in Chapter 4. And the ways of utilizing for teaching emphatic expressions by meaning and by function were presented. This will be useful for teaching emphatic expressions in the actual field of Korean language class.
