- Abstract
- In Long Term Evolution-Advanced(LTE-A) system, there are two base stations allocating their networks following different standards separately named frequency division multiplexing (FDD) and time division multiplexing (TDD) in the same area using the adjacent frequency bands, here the adjacent frequency bands produces the adjacent channel interference(ACI) due to the adjacent channel. TO mitigate the ACI , the mostly direct method is inserting a guard band(GB). Inserting a GB can reduce the ACI, but we all know that the frequency spectrum is very expensive, so merely inserting a GB certainly makes a waste of spectrum. In this paper we propose a spectrum allocation scheme using the GB to enhance the throughput for Backhaul Link (BL) which is from the base station to relay node in the FDD and TDD coexistence of LTE-A system.
Numerical simulation results show that our proposed method significantly enhances the throughput from the base station to relay node, and greatly improves the efficiency in the spectrum resource utilization.
