특성을 가진 그래프에 대한 그래프 데이터베이스 성능평가

Abstract

본 논문에서는 다양한 그래프의 특성과 크기에 따른 그래프 데이터베이스의 질의 의 종류별 처리 능력을 평가한다. 종전의 데이터베이스 간 비교 연구는 단순한 노드와 에지의 크기에 따른 실험이나, 제한적인 질의에 대해서만 평가를 하였다. 보다 구체적 인 성능평가를 위해 몇 가지 실험 조건을 구체화 하여 진행한다. 먼저 대상이 되는 그 래프를 노드 간 밀도와 데이터의 크기에 따라 분류하고, 질의는 빈번하게 사용되는 작 은 6가지 패턴을 이용하여 각각 성능평가를 실시한다. 이 연구를 통하여 데이터와 질 의의 분류에 따른 그래프 데이터베이스의 성능을 보다 객관성을 가지고 평가 할 수있다.| In this thesis, we evaluate the performance of graph databases by examining how fast databases respond to queries. We classify graph database according to its characteristics and sizes, and collect different kinds of queries for this evaluation. Previous studies have been carried out by simple quantitative inspection based on the size of graph for some selected queries.
