- As is known to all, the culture of every country is different. There are many
good ways to understand that culture. Cultural works are one of them. Histori
cally, South Korea and China have had frequent exchanges in economic and p
olitical fields for a long time. Therefore, South Korea and China have a lot in
common culturally. However, understanding a country's culture is not an easy
thing. This process can be made easier by translating cultural works. Therefo
re, translation plays a very important role. Translation is not simply a matter
of words. Especially when translating cultural works, one should fully understa
nd the culture of two countries. Moreover, it is necessary to make a profound
analysis of the translated works. It is also very important to master the inton
ation, speech, idiomatic expressions and proverbs of every character in the w
orks and think about how to express the scenes in Chinese naturally.
In this paper,the Korean novel the Tall Dwarf into Chinese. There are still ma
ny Korean words loaned from Chinese. These loans have similar pronunciation
and meaning as those in Chinese. There are different ones that make the sa
me sense, and I want to look into that.
The first chapter mainly includes research objectives, research contents and r
esearch methods.
The second chapter organizes the representative words or sentences in the tr
anslation process and analyzes them into three categories. The first,one-to-on
e.That is to say, a word has only one meaning and can be easily translated in
to Chinese. Second , one-to-many.it is necessary to decide which meaning to
choose in the context of the various meanings of the word. In the last case, t
he unique words or metaphors used in the Korean language have no correspo
nding meaning with the Chinese language or feel awkward when literal transla
tion, can only be translated into free translation, that is, free translation.
In chapter 3, the problems discussed are studied, and the results are summari
zed.|본고에서는 한국 소설 <키 큰 난쟁이>를 중국어로 번역했다. 연구에서 번역하는 박형서 선생님의 단편소설 <키 큰 난쟁이>이다. 이 소설은 박형서 작가님의 다섯 번째 단편집 《낭만주의》에 있는 작품이다. 이 것은 작가님이 2014년 여름부터 2017년 봄 사이에 쓴 소설들은 모은 작품이다.; As is known to all, the culture of every country is different. There are many
