Abstract
In this paper, the stick-slip phenomena on spinning shaft related to friction moment is analyzed. The shaft modeling is considered only torsional direction and boundary conditions. The boundary conditions are changeable depends on stick-slip condition. Based on the governing equation of the spinning shaft, time integration is accomplished to analyze the stick-slip phenomena related to friction moment by nonlinear Newmark method. The results of the numerical analysis reveal the effect on change of the friction moment.
