dc.description.abstractAmong natural products, Icetexane is a complex polycyclic ring compound with diverse biological activities. Icetexane is characterized by having 6-7-6 ring structure. In addition, there are several natural products in the Icetexane, which have different functional group. Prior to synthesizing these Icetexane series, the Key intermediates were synthesized in the most economical and efficient manner. Among them, our group worked on a structure with oxygen attached to carbon 11, 12. The left part was synthesized starting from benzene with methoxy group on carbon 11 and 12, and the right part of various kinds such as enyne, diyne, oxygen bearing enyne and diyne were synthesized. Then, the left part and the right part were connected to form an intermediate for the cyclization reaction.-
