dc.description.abstractThis research examined possibility of introducing variable speed operation for ventilation systems in subway stations' platform by experiments. As a result, appropriate amount of air flow has also gained at terminal diffuser when variable speed operation method has applied to existing air ventilation system. Concentration of fine dust was similar with on/off method, and both control method have fulfilled legal standards while variable speed operation method showed better amount of supplied air volume and reduction of energy cost.en_US
