dc.description.abstractThis letter investigates the stability region of p-persistent carrier sense multiple access systems with N users, where each user has an unlimited length of queue, its own arrival rate, and (re) transmission probability. To do this, we apply Foster-Lyapunov stability theorem and show the necessary and sufficient condition of the system stability in terms of the existence of queue-stabilizing (re) transmission probability. Then, using a multiobjective optimization problem, we characterize the boundary of the stability region.en_US
