Study on flow noise in solenoid valve for a vehicle brake system

Abstract

Recently, consumers are demanding not only performance advantages, but also emotional quality such as noise in purchasing vehicles. There is no problem with the performance of the vehicle, but if the fine noise of the vehicle occurs, the reliability of the product seriously affects. In this study, the noise's cause noise of ESC (Electrical Stability Control) system which is installed in vehicle was analyzed by using Nuerical Simulaltion. The solution of the vehicle noise was the final confirmation of the effect on the actual vehicle test. In this paper, Fluent analysis program was used and the result of simulation were verified by NVH(Noise Vibration Harshness) test. This study is intended to improve the design ability by reducing the trial and error and ensuring the reliability of the analysis.
