dc.description.abstractThis paper presents for predict of settled battery internal resistance calculation by using the engine RPM information from a vehicle to increase accuracy of SOH algorithm. In the vehicle environment, because of a battery is charged by alternator with dynamic frequency current, there is a limitation to calculate steady and accurate internal resistance. In order to expect the input frequency of current, engine RPM is used as substitute for alternator output frequency. According to the battery impedance characteristic from EIS, linear regression between engine RPM and calculated battery internal resistance can be the basis of compensate dynamic internal resistance to express the stable internal resistance. For the purpose of verification, experiment was done at vehicle environment, and compare distribution of internal resistance to the result for analyzing the suitability.en_US
