dc.description.abstractIn order to minimize the injection shrinkage in the thick area of TV cabinet, the thickness of the curved and thick areas and the location of the gates for dual-injection are optimized by using the design of experiments. The flow analysis employing the finite element method provides the shrinkage at the thick area. The optimum condition to minimize the shrinkage after the dual-injection is primarily concerned with the pressure transfer at flow ways. The 30% decrease of injection shrinkage was shown in the real test.en_US
