dc.description.abstractAnalysis technique using computer aided engineering (CAE) is essential for verifying system problems and enhancing the design with optimization in advance. In this paper, the optimization of minimizing the damage of bills and motor performance condition of inner roller system was performed in the bill extraction system. First of all, dynamic behavior and structure analyses were performed by commercial dynamic simulation software. The damage of bills and motor performance condition of inner roller system were quantified to applied stress on the sheet (bill), driving torques of pickup roller and feed roller. Spring coefficient and damping coefficient of each contact conditions were chosen as design variables. After process automation using PIAnO, optimum solution was obtained by approximate optimization with PQRSM. As a result, applied stress on the sheet and driving torques of pickup roller and feed roller were improved to 51.4%, 32.9% and 67.8%, respectively.en_US
