- Abstract
- 본 논문은 현재 동영상 압축 기술에서 있어 중요시되고 있는 표준특허 및 특허풀의 개념을 정의하고, 특허풀 기업인 MPEG LA 의 표준특허(MPEG-2,MPEG-4 VISUAL, MPEG-4 Part 10 AVC/H.264)DB 를 통계 자료로 정량화하여 우리나라 기업, 연구소의 표준특허 참여율을 세계 각국과 비교해 보았다. 이러한 분석을 토대로 동영상 압축표준에서의 동향을 파악하여 효과적인 표준화 정책에 의미 있는 자료를 만들기 위함이다.
