dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the multi-performance structural optimization process of engine cradle of vehicle for weightreduction satisfying the variety performance requirements. The kriging model is employed to apply the thickness optimizationconsidering static stiffness, durability and permanent displacement constraints. By using the thickness optimization results,topology optimization is performed to reduce additional weights by the optimization problem that minimizes the weight understatic stiffness and durability constraints. Based on topology optimization results, we perform the shape optimization and obtainthe optimal structure whose weight is reduced compared to the initial design. It is confirmed that the lightweight engine cradlemeets three performance requirements.en_US
