The importance of facility management has been increased. Management scheme is mainly for organizing the reports which in the form of electrical file, and provides an information service using facility management database. However, current system is not sufficient to interconnect the physical model with semantic information, also the consistency of data is not guaranteed. In this study, we propose a BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based facility management scheme to overcome this drawbacks. the objective of this paper is to briefly introduce the concept of BIM and major issues to develop the system.en_US
