Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine Characteristics of PM2.5 and Perceived Air Quality in naturally and mechanically ventilated apartments. Indoor and outdoor Temperature, Relative humidity, CO₂ and PM2.5 were simultaneously monitored in 15 units of naturally and mechanically ventilated apartments. 312 data were collected by pannel and occupant questionnaire survey. Indoor PM2.5 Concentrations were low in mechanical supply ventilated apartment. but Response was that the Perceived air quality(PAQ) is more satisfying than mechanically supply ventilated apartments from naturally and mechanically balance ventilated apartments. The finding revealed that the symptom appeared very diverse and composite. The most common symptom was nasal congestion and nasal discharge in mechanically ventilated apartments.
