Abstract
Demanded the increase of the rate of strength development for rapid constructions and repairs, many efforts have progressed to improve on performance of concrete. The concrete used regulated set cement has performance of high strength development at early period. At early curing, however, concrete using regulated set cement has some problems as like increasing its permeability and accelerate its long-term deterioration due to high hydrated heat. The purpose of this study is to improve the performance of regulated set cement, which mixed with the mineral admixtures such as silica fume, fly ash and ground granulated blast furnace slag. At first, the setting time, compressive strength and chloride permeability of mortar according to the substitute ratio of mineral admixtures were evaluated. And then using it obtained from test results, it was conducted with experiment of mechanical, physical and durable characteristics of concrete. In conclusion, concrete substituted for 5% of silica fume didn't have an effect on prominent performance relating to compressive and flexural strength. However it was superior to concrete which wasn't blended with silica fume in the case of improvement of chloride permeability. As a result of this study, it is considered that the mineral admixture may be useful to urgent construction which is required longer service-life
