축제의 경제적 지속성을 위한 축제 입장료 지불 가치 추정 : 가상적 가치추정방법(CVM)을 이용하여

Abstract

본 연구는 김제지평선축제를 대상으로 문화관광축제 졸업 이후 축제 자생력 확보를 위해 축제 입장료 정책으로 전환될 경우를 가정하여 축제 입장료 지불 가치 추정을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 재화의 공익적 기능에 대한 가치평가로 가장 많이 사용되는 이중양분선택형 가상가치평가법(Double-Bounded dichotomous choice CVM)을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 모형추정결과 설명변수 중 거주지만 방문자의 지불의사금액(WTP)에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었으며, 방문경험, 동반유무, 성별, 연령, 학력은 입장료 지불의사에 유의한 영향이 미치지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. 로짓모형에서 추정된 계수를 이용하여 1인당 김제지평선축제 입장료 지불의사금액의 절단된 평균을 계산한 결과 평균 10,504원으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 적절한 입장료 제시를 위한 실질적 토대를 마련하고, 축제의 유료화 정책에 대한 실무적인 전략 제시 등 축제의 경제적 지속성 확보를 위한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the value of payment for entry fee to festivals in case the policy is changed to receive entrance fee to have autonomy after being selected as Honored Cultural Tourism Festival in Korea. The study is targeted to Gimje Horizon Festival in Korea. The major tool for this study was Double-Bounded dichotomous choice CVM which is most frequently used for the value evaluation about good`s public function. For the result of the study, residence had a significant effect on the visitor`s WTP(Willingness To Pay) in the evaluated model. However, visit experience, whether they accompany, gender, and education had not significant effect on WTP. The average WTP truncated per visitor for Gimje Horizon Festival was calculated as 10,504 won by using estimated figures from logit model. The results of this study will contribute to provide practical foundations to suggest proper entrance fee, and operational strategy about festival charging policy. These implications will help festivals procure a financial durability.
