dc.description.abstractFlat plate slab is so weak against punching failure at the slab-column connection that method of inserting shear reinforcement in the slab is widely used. The shear strength of flat plate slab is determined by sum of resisting strength of concrete and shear reinforcement. And strength of shear reinforcement is influenced by development length, detail of anchorage, concrete compressive strength, shape and diameter of shear reinforcement. This study suggested shear reinforcement which has superior anchorage effect, structural performance and constructability. It is thought that strength of shear reinforcement suggested in this study could be exactly estimated by considering variables influencing strength of shear reinforcement.en_US
