사회적 경제와 평생교육의 연계- 대안운동과 학습의 접합 -

Abstract

이 연구는 최근 활성화되고 있는 사회적 경제(social economy)와 평생교육의 연계가능성을 탐색하기 위한 것이다. 시장자본주의와 신자유주의적 세계화에 대한 대안으로 부상한 사회적 경제의 대안운동성과 평생교육의 학습력이 접목될 때 각 영역의 고유한 가치와 목적을 달성하는 데 상생의 방향으로 기여할 수 있음을 밝히고자 하였다.||||이를 위해 주로 문헌검토를 통하여 첫째, 분과영역의 부상으로 위축된 평생교육이 새로운 사회적 의제를 포섭함으로써 방어적인 논리구축에서 벗어나 연구영역의 다변화로 전환하고 둘째, 새로운 사회적 의제로 등장한 사회적 경제의 외형적 발전상을 확인하고, 그 질적 속성으로서 대안 가치와 대안운동성을 논의하였으며 셋째, 사회적 경제와 평생교육이 학습공동체와 학습주체의 양성이라는 점에서 연계될 수 있음을 고찰하였다.||||이러한 논의의 결과는 사회적 경제가 단순한 생산조직이나 소비조합을 넘어 학습공동체로 변모되고 그 구성원들이 학습주체로 성장할 때 독특한 대안세력으로서 기능할 수 있는 반면, 평생교육은 사회적 경제를 포섭함으로써 연구영역의 다변화를 도모하고, 잃어버린 평생교육의 초기정신과 원형을 회복할 수 있는 단초를 발견할 수 있음을 시사한다.The purpose of this study is to seek the possibility of linking social economy and lifelong education. To examine whether the unique value and purpose of each region can be achieved when join the educability of lifelong education to the alternative movement of social economy emerged as an alternative against market capitalism and neo-liberal globalization.||||For this purpose the following research contents were investigated mainly through literature review. First, to explore for the possibility of diversifying of the research area of lifelong education shrunken due to the activation of neighboring disciplines by including the new social agenda. Second, to confirm the quantitative development of social economy rising up as a new social agenda in korea and to discuss alternative value and movement as qualitative characteristic of social economy. Third, to investigate the possibility of linking social economy and lifelong education from the viewpoint of cultivating learning communities and learning subjects.||||The results of this exploration suggest the following; First of all, social economy can act as alternative power when it transform a simple production enterprise or consumer cooperative into a learning community and its members grow to learning subjects. On the other hand, lifelong education can achieve the diversification of the research area by including the social economy and find an initial clue to regain the early spirit and original shape of lifelong education.
