- Abstract
- Real estate auction market is no longer an area exclusively reserved for particular groups of people as it is becoming a new investment method for common people, as well as a way for them to purchase their own homes. The existing studies on real estate auction market focused on analyzing the determining factors of highest bid rate or examining the correlations of region-specific highest bids, and there have not been many studies on the effects of macroeconomic variables on the bid rate in the real estate auction market. Accordingly, there is a need to examine the bid rate changes in the real estate auction market according to the fluctuations in macroeconomic variables.
