SOA와 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 상호관계 분석을 통한 단계별 상호협력 방안

Abstract

인터넷 기술을 활용하여 다수의 고객들에게 높은 수준의 확장성을 가진 자원들을 서비스로 제공하는 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 급부상하면서, 기존의 서비스 지향 아키텍처와 관련된 다양한 의견들도 혼란스럽게 제시되고 있다. 서비스 지향 아키텍처가 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 포괄한다거나, 반대로 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 서비스 지향 아키텍처를 대체할 수 있다는 등의 의견들이 여기에 해당된다. 이러한 혼란은 서비스 지향 아키텍처와 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 매우 유사한 목표 또는 효과를 가지고 있으며, 모두 서비스를 지향하며, 이들에 대한 다양한 정의가 존재하는 점 등에서 출발한다. 이 논문에서는 서비스 지향 아키텍처와 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 관계에 대한 다양한 견해들을 정리하여 그 타당성을 분석하고, 양자에게 모두 도움이 될 수 있는 단계별 협력 방안을 제시한다.Cloud computing provides services to multiple consumers with highly extensible resources based on Internet technologies. As the cloud computing rapidly emerges, various issues related with existing service-oriented architecture(SOA) have also been confusingly raised. For example, issues such as encompassing of cloud computing by SOA and substitution of SOA by cloud computing demonstrates potential confusion between the two. This chaos stems from the fact that the two have very similar objectives and/or effects, that both of them are oriented toward services, and that there are diverse definitions on them. This paper arranges and analyzes the various issues about the mutual relationship of SOA and cloud computing for validation and presents step-by-step cooperation ways helpful for both of them.
