수출중소기업의 내부특유자원, 전략적지향성 및 동적역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향 연구

Abstract

수출중소기업들의 해외진출과 성과에 대하여 동적역량관점에 기초한 실증연구는 매우 적다. 본 연구는 수출중소기업의 특성을 반영한 내부특유자원과 전략적지향성, 그리고 동적역량이 수출성과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 이러한 관계에서 동적역량의 매개효과를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 수출중소기업을 대상으로 수집된 292개의 자료를 바탕으로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 내부특유자원 중 기술자원, 인적자원 및 물리적자원이, 전략적지향성 중 글로벌 고객지향성과 기술지향성, 그리고 동적역량이 수출성과에 각각 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 동적역량은 기술자원, 인적자원, 물리적자원, 글로벌고객지향성, 기술지향성과 수출성과와의 사이에 부분 또는 완전매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 수출중소기업의 지속적인 수출성과 향상을 위해서 동적역량의 개발과 증진이 필요하며, 이를 촉진하는 내부특유자원과 전략적지향성이 중요하다는 시사점을 제시한다. This study aims to identify the effect of firm-specific resources, strategic orientation, and dynamic capabilities on the export performance of Korean exporting SMEs, and to analyze the mediating effect of dynamic capabilities. To this end, a survey among export manufacturing enterprises in Korea was conducted. The resultant data collected from 292 respondents was analyzed using descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability tests, multiple regression analysis, and mediated regression analysis. The result of this study is as follows. Each of the firm-specific resources (technological, human, and physical), strategic orientation(global customer orientation, and technology orientation), and dynamic capabilities, have a statistically significant, positive (+) influence on export performance. Furthermore, the dynamic capabilities play a partial or full mediating role between the firm-specific resources, strategic orientation, and export performance. Therefore, this study highlights the importance of dynamic capability development, firm-specific resources, and strategic orientation, in the international growth of Korean exporting SMEs.
