dc.description.abstractTo investigate the dynamic response of cable-stayed bridge under a high-speed train, a planar model of train-bridge system is used. The bridge deck and tower are modeled as frame elements. Four types of cable elements are used to model the stayed-cables. The random track irregularities are generated by power spectrum density functions. The train is modeled as a series of one-foot sprung masses. The interaction equation of motion is solved by Newmark-beta method.en_US
