dc.description.abstractSurface diffusivity of lateral walls affects distribution of the concert hall acoustics. The design elements of diffusers are geometrical shape, structural height, surface coverage, and installation position. Scattering and absorption coefficients of the diffusers were measured in a 1:10 reverberation chamber and diffusion coefficients of the diffusers were measured in a semi-anechoic chamber. The scattering and diffusion coefficients were increased with deeper structural height of the diffusers, and the total absorption was also increased due to larger surface area.en_US
