스트라빈스키의 신고전주의를 바라보는 새로운 관점: 20세기 초반의 문화 정치를 중심으로

Abstract

이 논문은 스트라빈스키의 신고전주의를 20세기 초반의 문화적 정치적 관점에서 해석해보려는 시도이다. 이러한 관점을 토대로 스트라빈스키의 신고전주의가 확립되기 직전의 역사적 맥락과 정황을 문화적 정보에 따라 재구성함으로써 그것이 어떤 사회적, 문화적 조건에 영향을 받아 특성화되는지 살펴보았다. 이러한 과정을 통해 단순히 과거의 양식과 형식을 복원한 것이라는 관점으로는 설명 불가능한 스트라빈스키의 독특한 신고전주의에 대해 새롭게 조망할 수 있는 가능성을 읽어내었다. The purpose of this essay is to reconsider Stravinsky’s neoclassicism focusing on cultural politics in the early 20th century. For this goal, this essay surveys Stravinsky’s neoclassicizing process in 1914-1923 by reconstructing historical contexts and circumstances according to cultural information. Also it examines what cultural conditions influence the formation of stravinsky’s neoclassicism. Finally, it suggests a new perspective for understanding the distinctive traits of Stravinsky’s neoclassical music.
