Among the two high school students located in G-gu, I City, high school girls who participated in physical education classes using new sports were selected as a population, and 339 people were selected as samples using convenience sampling. Exploratory factor analysis and reliability test were conducted to analyze items and extract factors from the collected data, and correlation analysis between variables was conducted to verify discriminant validity. Finally, multiple regression analysis was conducted to verify the influence, and the results of the study are as follows. First, the grit of high school girls who participated in new sports physical education classes had a partially significant impact on their participation in Engagement in physical education classes. Second, the continuity of Grit's efforts of high school girls who participated in new sports physical education classes had a significant impact on school happiness, but interest consistency only affected psychological stability. Third, among the factors of participation in physical education classes, subjective participation was found to affect all factors of school happiness except psychological stability. In addition, it was found that behavioral participation only affects self-efficacy. This study shows the importance of the teaching method conducted as a new sport in that female students can try to master the content for physical education classes and feel interested and happy
