Abstract
A Study on the Factors Affecting of China’s E-Commerce Imports. Ze Yu ZHONG Dept. of Economics and Finance. The Graduate School Hanyang University. With the booming development of China's economy in recent years, the scale of China's import and export trade is expanding. At the same time, the rapid development of E-commerce has provided great help to China's import and export trade. In this thesis, we study the influencing factors of e-commerce import trade according to the current development situation in China, select 10 countries where China's e-commerce import trade volume is higher, and analyze the empirical results for the period of 2010 - 2020. Three assumptions were made for all data and models. The final empirical results verify the hypotheses that the influence of the number of secure Internet servers, China's GDP, trading partner countries' GDP, and container port throughput are positively significant; trade distance from China is negatively significant; then China and trading partner countries' total labor force is insignificant. Finally, according to the empirical results, it is found that increasing the number of secure Internet connections can lead to an increase in e-commerce import trade volume, so the construction of secure Internet should be strengthened and expanded in popularity.
