스토리텔링을 기반한 현대무용 극적 기법 방안 연구

Abstract

서양 현대 무용이 중국에 전래된 지 100여 년이 지난 후, 중국에서 온 여러 현대 무용가들의 노력으로 시대적 특성에 맞는 우수한 무용 작품을 꾸준히 만들어내고 있다. 중국 현대 무용가 왕메이와 김싱은 중국 현대 무용의 발전 과정을 처음부터 지켜본 산증인. 중국 전통 문화와 '인간' 위주의 이념을 결합하여 현대인의 사고와 선택을 표현하기 위해 노력하다. 따라서 그것은 많은 관객과 학계의 연구원들에게 큰 영향을 미쳤고 중국 무용계의 오랜 연구 주제가 되었다. 왕메이의 현대무용극 <천둥과 비>와 김성의 <해상탱고>가 창작된 이후 중국 무용계에서 인정과 호평을 받아왔다. 두 안무가는 스토리텔링 기법으로 뇌우라는 소설을 소재로 현대무용으로 전환해 전달했다. 또한 국내외 많은 현대무용 예술가와 학자들이 계속해서 두 안무가의 무용 작품을 탐구하고 연구하고 있습니다. 그 중 더 중요한 문제는 왕메이와 김성이 어떻게 현대무용을 통해 '스토리렐링'을 위해 어떤 기법과 방법을 사용했는가 하는 점이며, '스토리렐링'의 방식과 효과적인 사용에 대해 본 연구는 대량의 문헌 자료를 검토하고 무용극 <천둥과 비>, <해상탱고>에 대한 상세한 작품 분석을 수행했다. 왕메이와 김싱은 창작을 통해 소설 뇌우의 뒷이야기를 심화시켰다. 소설 속 주요 인물들 간의 감정적 갈등을 재해석하고, 감정적 갈등에 직면한 인물의 선택과 인생 문제를 작품 스토리를 활용해 연구했다. 무용작품 창작에서 왕메이와 김성은 자신의 인생 경험과 소설적 줄거리를 결합해 스토리텔링 기법의 대표적인 두 작품을 만들어낸다. 두 작품에는 서사 기능이 적용됐을 뿐 아니라 인물과 소품을 통해 '스토리'가 펼쳐졌다. 두 작품은 시각적 요소부터 내재적 요소까지 모두 만족하며 왕메이와 김성의 여러 작품 중 선구적인 작품으로 그들의 무용 창작 경향을 대표하며 현대 중국 무용의 서사 기능을 연구하는 데 큰 의의가 있다. 본 논문은 '스토리텔링'이라는 극적 기법을 활용해 왕메이의 작품 <천둥과 비>와 김성의 작품 <해상탱고>를 분석하고, 그 작품의 서사적 특징을 체계적으로 연구했다. 그 결과 두 작품에 나타난 '스토리텔링' 기법과 춤 특성의 표현 및 동작의 서사적 특징의 목적을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 현대 중국 무용의 서사 창작에 과학적 창작 지도와 객관적인 평가를 제공할 것으로 기대된다.| More than 100 years after Western contemporary dance was introduced to China, the efforts of various contemporary dancers from China have consistently produced excellent dance works suitable for the characteristics of the times. Chinese contemporary dancers Wang Mei and Jin Xing are living witnesses who have watched the development of contemporary Chinese dance from the beginning. Efforts are made to express modern people's thoughts and choices by combining traditional Chinese culture with 'human'-oriented ideology. Therefore, it had a great influence on many audiences and researchers in academia and became a long-standing research topic in the Chinese dance world. Wang Mei's contemporary dance drama "The Thunder and the Rain" and Jin Xing's "Sea Tango" have been recognized and well-received in the Chinese dance world since they were created. The two choreographers used storytelling techniques to convert a novel called thunderstorm into modern dance and deliver it. In addition, many contemporary dance artists and scholars at home and abroad continue to explore and study the dance works of the two choreographers. The more important question is how Wang Mei and Jin Xing used the techniques and methods for "storytelling" through modern dance, and this study reviewed a large amount of literature on the method and effective use of "storytelling" and analyzed detailed works of dance dramas "Cheondong and Rain" and "Haesango Tango.“ Wang Mei and Jin Xing deepened the story behind the novel Thunderstorm through their creation. The emotional conflicts between the main characters in the novel were reinterpreted, and the choices and life problems of characters facing emotional conflicts were studied using the story of the work. In the creation of dance works, Wang Mei and Jin Xing combine their life experiences and novel plots to create two representative works of storytelling techniques. The two works not only applied narrative functions, but also unfolded a "story" through characters and props. The two works satisfy both visual and intrinsic elements, and are pioneering works of Wang Mei and Jin Xing, representing their dance creation trends and are of great significance in studying the narrative function of modern Chinese dance. This paper analyzed Wang Mei's work "Thunder and Rain" and Jin Xing's work "Sea Tango" using a dramatic technique called "storytelling," and systematically studied the narrative characteristics of the work. As a result, it was possible to know the purpose of the 'storytelling' technique and the expression of dance characteristics and the narrative characteristics of movements in the two works. Through this, it is expected to provide scientific creative guidance and objective evaluation for the creation of the narrative of modern Chinese dance.
