Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the power, which is the most important factor in various sports as an ability to display the power in sports activity, is different depending on the muscular amount. For the purpose, the study performed standing long jump, medicine ball put and wingate anaerobic test to analyze the correlation between power and muscular amount in anaerobic power. The study results are as follows. First, as shown in , the result about the correlation between man’s power and muscular amount in anaerobic power was significant as f=940.89 and p<.05. Second, as shown in
, the result about the correlation between woman’s power and muscular amount in anaerobic power was significant as f=424.45 and p<.05. Third, with regard to man’s power and muscular amount in anaerobic power, soft lean mass and wingate correlation coefficient was r=.469, showing very significant(p<.01) correlation. Soft lean mass and medicine ball put correlation coefficient was r=.364, showing significant (p<.05) correlation. However, muscular amount and standing long jump correlation coefficient was r=-.007, showing insignificant correlation. Fourth, with regard to woman’s power and muscular amount in anaerobic power, muscular amount and medicine ball put correlation coefficient was r=.606, showing significant (p<.01) correlation. Wingate was significant as r=.504 but standing long jump was not significant as r=.096.
