대학생들의 신문 이용동기와 기술수용모델 변인이 유료 모바일 뉴스 콘텐츠 수용의도에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 새로운 기술과 서비스의 수용의도를 예측하는 데 유용성을 가지고 있는 분석 틀인 기술수용모델(TAM: Technology Acceptance Model)과 미디어 이용자의 능동성과 욕구에 의한 미디어 이용행위와 효과를 분석하는 데 유용성을 가지고 있는 이론적 틀인 이용과 충족 이론(Uses & Gratification)을 접목한 융합 모델을 통해 대학생들의 유료 모바일 뉴스 콘텐츠 수용의도를 검증하고자 하였다.

연구결과 인지된 용이성에 영향을 미치는 변인은 일상생활 도움 동기, 혁신성, 사회적동조 변인인 것으로 나타났고, 인지된 유용성에 영향을 미치는 변인은 인지된 용이성,사회적 동조, 기술적 장애/장벽, 대인 관계 동기인 것으로 나타났다. 기술수용모델 변인 중 인지된 유용성만이 종합일간지 유료 모바일 뉴스 콘텐츠 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이밖에 일상생활 도움 동기, 사회적 동조, 여가/즐거움 동기 등은 유료 모바일 뉴스 콘텐츠 수용의도에 직접적인 기여를 하는 것으로 나타났다.;This study set out to investigate college students" intentions to accept paid mobile news content by combining Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), an analysis framework used when introducing a new technology or service, with Uses & Gratification, which analyzes the audience"s media uses according to their activity and desire. As a result, college students" perceived ease of use was affected by the assistance motive for daily life, innovativeness, and social conformity. Their perceived usefulness was under the influence of perceived ease of use, social conformity, technological obstacles/barriers, and motive for interpersonal relationships. Of all the TAM variables, only perceived usefulness had effects on the college students" intention to accept paid mobile news content provided by daily newspapers. In addition, assistance motive for daily life, social conformity, and leisure/pleasure motive made direct contributions to their intention to accept paid mobile news content.
