전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육에 관한 연구 -기능위주의 시각디자인교육을 중심으로-

Abstract

본 연구는 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육과정을 중심으로 학생들의 시각디자인 분야에 대한중요성과 핵심적인 역량 등에 관한 인식을 파악하고,교육내용에 대한 요구도와 개선점을 알아보며, 이를통해 향후 전문대학 공업계열의 바람직한 시각디자인교육과정의 모델설계를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 시각디자인의 개념을파악한 다음 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육의 역할을 전문교육의 측면에서 살펴보고, 전문대학의 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육의 실태와 내용및 개선과제 등을 검토하여 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육의 바람직한 개선방향과 발전방안을 제안하고자 한다.

많은 전문대학의 공업계열 학과에서 시각디자인교육이 진행되고 있지만 교육과정 및 시수의 부적합, 커리큘럼의 문제점 및 학생들의 인식부족으로 효과적인시각디자인교육이 진행되지 못하고 있다.

따라서 본 연구에서는 그 해경방안으로 전문대학공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육을 기능적인 면을 중심으로 한국 산업인력공단에서 시행하는 국가기술자격증 ‘컴퓨터그래픽스운용기능사’의 합격기준을 중심으로 실무에 바로 적용할 수 있는 기준을 정하고 학생들의 기능수준에 초점을 맞추어 정의하였으며 향후취업과도 연계하여 학생들이 습득해야 하는 기능을구별하여 실질적인 모델을 제시하고자 한다.

연구범위로는 서울소재 전문대학 1개 대학을 선정하여 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인 교육과정 교과목및 커리큘럼, 평가방법, 전문대학 2년의 짧은 수업연한에 공업계열 학과의 기능위주 시각디자인교육에 대한 효율적인 방안을 연구하였다.

연구방법으로는 ‘컴퓨터그래픽스운용기능사’ 국가기술자격증 합격기준을 기능별 능력을 평가하는 기준으로 정의하였으며, 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육의 실태 및 현황을 조사하였다.

본 연구를 통해 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인교육에 현실성과 중요성이 새롭게 부각되어 커리큘럼 개발 및 목적에 맞는 시각디자인교육이 될 수있도록 시사점 도출 및 전문대학 공업계열 학과의 시각디자인 교육과정에 바람직한 개선과 발전을 기대해본다.;This study of the visual design colleges department of industry training focused on theimportance of students in the field of visual design andperceptions regarding core competencies identified, andinformation on training needs and looked out theimprovements , it specializes in the future Departmentof Technology of the University of the preferred modelof visual design courses to provide basic data for thedesign is aimed at . Many of the industrial department of collegeeducation in the visual design is in progress, but afailure of untreated water courses and curriculum, andstudents' lack of awareness of the problems of effectivevisual design education has not been progress. In this study, plans industrial department of theCollege of Education and functional aspects of the visualdesign of the central force in the country in which HRDcertifications "Computer Graphics operations technician"working around the acceptance criteria to be applieddirectly to the criteria to focus on students' skill levelwas defined by future students to work and interact needto acquire the ability to differentiate is to propose apractical model. Research in the range of colleges in Seouluniversities by selecting one of the visual designdepartment of industrial education courses andcurriculum, assessment, college classes two years shortof the function of light in the department of industrialdesign education -oriented vision for efficient measureswere studied. Study the way the 'Computer Graphics Technicianoperating the National Certification acceptance criteriato evaluate the functional capacity was defined by,college department of industrial design's visual statusand the status of education were investigated. Through this study of the visual design collegesdepartment of industrial education is emerging realityand importance of curriculum development and trainingappropriate for the purpose of visual design implicationsthat can be drawn and colleges department of IndustrialDesign course desirable in the perspective of improvingand look forward to the development.
