SDR 플랫폼을 이용한 NTSC 표준 기반의 TV 송신기 구현

Abstract

SDR(Software Defined Radio) 플랫폼은 기존의 하드웨어 플랫폼의 유연성의 한계를 넘어 사용자의 목적이나 요구에 따라 다양하고 유연한 소프트웨어 기반의시스템 구현이 가능하다. 이에 따라 SDR을 이용한 소프트웨어 기반의 시스템 구현에 대한 관심과 연구가증가하였다. 하지만 이러한 구현 시스템과 실제 상용시스템과의 호환성 및 성능 측정을 보여주는 사례는매우 적다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 GNU Radio와USRP(Universal Software defined Radio Peripheral) 를 이용해 구현한 NTSC 방식 TV 송신 시스템과 상용 NTSC 수신기를 실제 무선 통신환경에서 연동함으로써 SDR 플랫폼 기반 시스템과 상용 시스템과의 호환성 및 그 성능을 보여준다.;SDR(Software Defined radio) platform enables to implement various flexible communication systems according to user’s purpose and requirements beyond the limit of flexibility of existing hardware platform. Therefore, interest and research on the implementation of software based communication system has increased. However, there are very few examples showing compatibility and performance measurements between implementation using SDR and actual commercial systems. Therefore, in this paper, we show the compatibility and performance of communication system which are commercial NTSC receiver and NTSC TV transmitter using GNU Radio and USRP in real wireless communication environment.
