Abstract
A series of thermo-responsive pollypeptide microgel capsules(MCs) having an inner core and an outer shell were prepared using a two-wtep crosslinking method. MCs showed rapid, repetitive changes in volume, which led to the formation and closure of pore windows on the MC surface, and the swelling-deswelling transition occurred over only a few seconds. Pollypeptide MCs could release encapsulated molecules on demand in response to changing environmental temperatures
