김종삼 시에서 ‘음악’의 의미

Abstract

이 논문은 김종삼의 시에서 음악의 의미를 해명하는 것에 목적을 둔다. ‘왜 환상은 음악과 더불어 등장하는가?’라는 문제의식에서 출발하여, 음악을 무의식적 욕망과 결부시켜 해석하려는 것이다. 김종삼의 시를 파악하는 데 무엇보다 중요한 것은 그의 시가 지닌 내적 문법의 기원을 찾아내는 것이다. 이를 위해 첫째, 음악과 언어의 문제에 주목하였다. 언어로 치환할 수 없는 어떤 영역을 언어로서 표현해야 하는 역설 때문에 그의 언어는 음악과 회화라는 예술의 ‘형식’을 취하게 된다.
