Abstract
본 연구는 학습전략으로서 학습플래너를 사용하는 것이 청소년기 학생의 학업성취도와 자기주도 학습능력에 어떤 영향을 미치는 지를 측정하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 경기, 서울 지역의 국제중학교 학생 20명을 선별하여 이중 각 10명씩을 실험, 대조군으로 선정, 학습플래너에 대한 교육과 작성, 작성의 결과에 대한 관찰과 인터뷰를 약 4개월 간 수행하였다. 학업성취도는 각 학교에서 시행하는 교과목 별 중간, 기말고사 성적으로 규정하였으며 자기주도 학습능력의 측정은 이석재(2015)가 개발한 자기주도 학습능력 측정 척도를 활용하였다. 사전, 사후 검증으로 나누어 학생들의 학업성취도와 자기주도 학습능력을 측정, 비교하였다. 표본의 수가 작기 때문에 범주형 자료에 따른 연속형 자료의 평균 차이 검증을 위하여 비모수 통계 기법인 Mann-Whitney 검정을 활용하였으며 보다 심도 있는 분석을 위하여 실험군에 속한 학생들에게 반구조화된 인터뷰(Semi-structured interview) 방식을 실행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 밝혀진 연구 결과를 보면 학습전략으로서 학습플래너의 활용은 학생들의 학업성취도와 자기주도 학습능력에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. The aim of this study is to measure the effect of using a learning planner as a learning strategy on adolescent students' academic achievement and self-directed learning ability. Twenty middle school students from Gyeonggi and Seoul were selected, and 10 of them were selected as experimental group and control group, and education and writing on the learning planner were observed and interviews were conducted for about 4 months. Academic achievement was defined as the mid-term and final exam scores for each subject administered by each school. To measure the self-directed learning ability, a measure of self-directed learning ability developed by Seok-Jae Lee (2015) was used. Divided into pre- and post-tests, students' academic achievement and self-directed learning ability were measured and compared. Because the number of samples is small, the Mann-Whitney test, a nonparametric statistical technique, was used to verify the average difference between continuous data according to categorical data. For a more in-depth analysis, a semi-structured interview method was conducted for students in the experimental group. Looking at the results of this study, it was found that the use of a learning planner as a learning strategy has a significant effect on students' academic achievement and self-directed learning ability.
