산업연관표를 활용한 정보통신기술과 로봇기술의 확산 분석

Abstract

기술혁신의 성장과 경쟁력향상에 기여는 혁신이후 신기술이 연구소에서 머무르지 않고 다양한 경제주체들에 의하여 채택되고 활용되어야만 현실화될 수 있다. 이러한 문제의식에서 본 연구에서는 ICT와 산업용 로봇기술의 산업별 확산수준을 산업연관표의 중간투입률을 이용하여 추산하였다. 우선 ICT 확산에 대한 중요한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 제조업과 서비스업이 균등한 ICT확산추세를 보이고 있으나 제조업이나 서비스업 내부에서는 산업별로 불균등한 확산추세를 보였다. 예를 들어 제조업의 경우 고위기술 산업군의 ICT 중간투입률이 47.8%인 반면 중저위기술산업군은 0.7%에 불과하여 제조업 내부에서도 ICT확산률에 많은 차이가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 산업전체로는 로봇의 중간투입률이 2016년 기준으로 0.019%수준으로 ICT의 확산이 로봇에 비하여 약 45배가량 높은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 로봇기술의 확산은 ICT에 비하여 초보단계로 평가된다. 서비스업과 제조업사이에도 많은 격차를 보이는데, 제조업의 산업로봇확산이 서비스업에 비하여 14배 높은 것으로 나타났다. 상대적으로 로봇기술의 확산수준이 높다고 평가되는 제조업도 특정산업 즉 중고위기술산업군이 확산을 주도하고 있다고 평가되어 제조업 내부에서도 확산의 불균등성이 높게 나타났다.

The contributions of technological innovation to growth and competitiveness is made possible through adoption and practical application in the field. This study estimates the level of diffusion of an ICT and an industrial robot using the Input-Output Table. The result of the study can be summarized as follows. Diffusion rate of the ICT is almost the even across the manufacturing sector and the service sector, uneven within each sector. Increasing diffusion rate of the robot, in terms of the rate of intermediate input, is lower than the diffusion rate of the ICT. This implies the early stage of the robot technology in terms of diffusion. Technology intensive manufacturing sector is estimated to lead diffusion of the robot technology in the manufacturing sector.
